Whoa. The highly-anticipated Samuel Adams Boston Tap Room at Faneuil Hall is set to open to the public on January 30, according to boston.com, and the photos are incredible.

Boston Beer Co. founder Jim Koch told Boston.com over the phone that he's "waited over 10 years to have this conversation."

The three-level structure, which replaces the Hillstone restaurant is perfectly positioned from the Faneuil Hall Sam Adams Statue.

Koch said in the article he used to wander by the are at night because he would feel “like Sam’s spirit was somewhere.”

For more than 10 years Koch has been searching for the perfect location in Boston. The new taproom will feature 20 beers on tap.

The ground floor level will offer a 360-degree bar with glass windows overlooking Sam Adams himself, or the statute at least, according to Boston.com. There will be a top-level which will offer some outdoor seating as weather permits.

Koch stated in the article that “Faneuil Hall is a world-famous place, and we want to keep that energy going. This is a great time to give a jolt of energy, a breath of fresh air to Faneuil Hall. The ball will keep rolling.”

I’m looking forward to checking out the beers on tap when they open on Jan. 30 or soon thereafter.
