There’s a New Chief in Town!
Earlier this week, Seacoastonline announced Hampton Police Deputy Chief, Rich Sawyer was elevated to Chief of Police in his hometown. WOKQ and The Morning Waking Crew send our best wishes to our friends, 'Richie,' and Jamie!
Chief Sawyer takes the reigns from now former Chief Jamie Sullivan. Both men have been extremely helpful to WOKQ and Special Olympics of New Hampshire for the annual "Penguin Plunge Weekend!"
All of us wish Chief Sawyer nothing but the best in his new position and we give a big 'Thanks!' to former Chief Sullivan, who continues on with the Town of Hampton in the capacity of assistant town manager and human resources coordinator.
