Ladies and gentlemen, meet Massachusetts' newest superhero, "Luna."

Forget about all the superheroes in the movie "Avengers Endgame" like Iron Man, Captain America, Thanos, Thor, The Hulk, Spiderman. That's fantasy. That's Hollywood.

But Luna? Lune is the real deal, and according to WBZ Boston, she's a beautiful 4-month-old black Labrador being trained to help with all kinds of wonderful things. That reportedly includes helping with first responders and their families when something bad happens.

She will be a comfort dog, the news station reported, often assisting those with post-traumatic stress.

Luna, who is still in training, will also help with civilian victims and survivors, WBZ stated.

Even though Luna is only 4 months old, she's already been a big help. Her first job was only about a week ago when she helped out an officer who was shot, according to the news station. She made a huge difference with the wounded cop!

WBZ reported that she is the first ever comfort dog in the state of Massachusetts working with the police department, and while she is only helping in Massachusetts, she will be able to cross state lines and be of service to all New Englanders down the road.

Now that's what I call a real superhero. Helping real people and families in need. You go, girl!
