Two Mouthwatering Prime Rib Dinners Cost Less than $30 at this Hampton, New Hampshire, Gem

Even though life is so crazily expensive these days, you don't need to break the bank to enjoy a nice meal out at a restaurant. You just need to know where to go!

Jeff Peterson is a member of the North Shore Eats Facebook group. He posted on the group looking for suggestions of somewhere to have dinner for two for $40 plus tip.

The comments section got mean

Because the internet can be such a toxic and hateful place, Jeff had to sift through a slew of disrespectful comments. People called him horrible things like a "cheap bastard", suggested he eat dinner out of his dumpster, and then there were the less offensive but still not helpful suggestions of eating a McDonald's or just staying home. But among the keyboard warriors were a bunch of legitimate suggestions.

The winner was L Street Tavern in Hampton, New Hampshire.

Jeff got two prime rib dinners with 4 sides for $25.98 plus tax. He left a generous $11.89 (46%) tip and brought home leftovers. He even made a new friend, his waitress Tessa Boucher! He kindly shared his experience with the Facebook group.

I love that Jeff came back around and posted this. It showed all the Facebook bullies that were not helpful on his original post that he did indeed find a fantastic meal for two people for less that $40.

Perhaps we should all think back to our days in kindergarten and the Golden rule. If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all!

As for the L Street Tavern, it is absolutely one of the best hidden gems on the Seacoast of New Hampshire. My sources tell me this Prime rib special is only on Thursdays so get involved!
