Wayne from Maine and a Day in Dover [PICS]

Wayne from Maine is kind of a big deal. If you don't know this, you probably don't have kids.

I can certainly say I hadn't heard of him until recently, but he is absolutely huge with the kids (and the parents). This past Tuesday, he performed as part of the Cocheco Arts Festival Children's Series and we made a day of it.

We started out with breakfast at the legendary Harvey's Bakery in Dover, where little Theo-- being a little dude with excellent taste- longed for every pastry.

After breakfast, we headed to the Rotary Arts Pavilion in Downtown Dover for the show. Alongside Jimmy James (from NH, btw), Wayne from Maine got the crowd bopping and singing along in no time!

On our way back, we checked in with the Dover Mounted Patrol. Turns out I played baseball with Officer Caproni and hockey with Officer Murch's husband- small world (and huge horses, CJ and Monty are super sweet)!

By the time we got home, it was time for a nap! Wayne from Maine has a bunch of shows coming up in Nashua, Exeter and at the Hopkinton Fair as well. He'll wear your kids out, and that isn't a bad thing...
