If you feel terrorized by the blaring of an alarm clock every morning, a college student has invented an alarm clock that wakes you up with specific smells and has launched a campaign to fund a company to build them.

The story was on CNN.com's money page over the weekend. Giullaume Roland has develop a clock that makes smells instead of noise and uses pods in the same way a Keurig machine uses them to make coffee. It's called SensorWake and some of the featured smells include fruit, the ocean, chocolate, leaves and even the smell of cash which I'm sure will be big among salespeople who are successful or might want to be.

There is a Kickstarter campaign currently underway to help fund the development of the company. You could see the units themselves for sale as early as this fall.
