Who Wants to Buy Rockingham Park?

Wanna buy an old horse racing track?  

Yesterday the announcement came via WMUR that Rockingham Park in Salem is officially up for sale.

There was a lot of talk that they would expand it for gambling in the future but such an idea appears to be off the table.

The track is 110 years old and has been sitting for years in disrepair.  When you drive down the backside of it on Pleasant Street, you can REALLY see just how badly some of the old stables need to be torn down.

Potential buyers will be looking at 120 acres right off I-93 just over the Mass boarder only 30 miles from Boston.  I'm sure it will go for a pretty penny.
