Remember the Pamela Smart case? It's still making headlines.

In 1990 three teenagers from the Seacoast banned together in premeditated murder and killed the husband of one of their high school instructors- Gregg Smart.

Later it was revealed that Smart's wife Pamela had been involved in a sexual relationship with one of the boys ad convinced him to end her husband's life so they could continue their taboo tryst.

The news stunned the whole area and sent Southern New Hampshire to the forefront of national news.

WMUR reports that a judge has ruled that the gun used to kill Smart will be returned to it's owner.

Vance Lattime Sr. (the father of one of the boys convicted of the crime, Vance Lattime Jr.) was the one to request his firearm be returned to him.

The state originally objected but since now Judge Andrew Schulman has ruled that Lattime is not outside of the parameters of the law with such a request.
