Over the past several years, comedian and actor Bill Murray has been spotted at local restaurants in the South Coast of Massachusetts. During the summer of 2019, Murray was seen at Patti's Pierogis in Fall River and two years ago, he was spotted at Mi Antojo Mexican Restaurant on Route 18 in New Bedford.

If you did not know, your favorite actor from "Ghostbusters" and "Caddyshack," Bill Murray is big into golfing. Over the weekend, Murray was in the South Coast for a special golf tournament (U.S. Senior Amateur Gold Championship) at the Kittansett Club in Marion.

According to Boston News 25, on Sunday night, Bill Murray stopped at the popular restaurant Turks Seafood on Marion Road in Mattapoisett. Murray took time to pose for photos with the waitstaff as well as some of his fans.

Murray even stopped to take some fun photos that will keep his fans happy for years to come. His waitress, Kimberly McCarthy posted her favorite photo with the actor on Facebook “Had the absolute pleasure of waiting on the comedic ICON himself, Bill Murray. Even got a “prom” pic. Epic experience.”

Murray did not only take photos with waitstaff, Kimberly also got something that is worth even more, a signed golf ball.

According to Boston, Murray's interactions on Sunday with fans at Turk's Seafood was positive, however, this has not always been the case when fans have tried to take photos with Murray in the past.

In 2016, Murray ended up throwing fans' cell phones off a second-story restaurant roof in California, according to TMZ.

According to the Chicago Tribute, in 2017, it was reported that Murray yelled at individuals that were taking photos of him before leaving a VIP reception where people paid to take photos with him.

And in 2018, Martha’s Vineyard Times photographer Peter Simon ended up filing a police report accusing Murray of slamming him against a door for taking photos of him at an Oak Bluffs restaurant.
