3-Day Anti-Terrorism Training Begins In Portsmouth Harbor

(Portsmouth, NH) - The Portsmouth Navy Yard is kicking-off a training exercise that will involve firing blank rounds of ammunition.

"Exercise Citadel Protect" will use Navy and Coast Guard patrol boats and blank ammunition rounds will be fired.  Most of the activity will take place just outside the mouth of the Piscataqua River, and the sounds may be heard by residents in Rye, Newcastle, Portsmouth.
