Portsmouth Shipyard Is Holding A 2-Week Training Exercise

(Portsmouth, NH) - The exercise, labelled "Citadel Shield-Solid Curtain", is being conducted at naval installations across the country today through February 9th.

The exercise is designed to enhance the training and rediness of the Navy security forces and other services and agency partners.

The exercise is a regularly scheduled event and  is not in response to any specific threat.

Residents near the shipyard may see or hear security activities associated with the exercise over the next two weeks.
