Accident Closes Shaker Road In Canterbury

(Canterbury, NH) - An early morning accident has closed a section of Shaker Road in Canterbury. Commuters should seek an alternate route for the rest of the morning.

A car driven by 35 year old Jennifer Tierney of Canterbury went off Shaker Road and struck a utility pole just before 6 am.  She suffered only minor injuries.

State Police say the road will be blocked to traffic for up to 8 hours until Eversource can replace the pole.

Traffic is being diverted across Baptist Hill Road.
