Alec Baldwin Tells New Hampshire Democrats It’s Time To Overthrow Trump
Alec Baldwin, the man who has spent the past two years playing Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live made a stop in New Hampshire over the weekend. But instead of parodying Trump as he does frequently on SNL, Baldwin called for the President's removal from office.
According to WMUR-TV, Democrats from across the Granite State gathered on Sunday evening in Manchester for the party's annual fundraising event. With midterm elections just a few weeks away, the Democrats brought Baldwin to New Hampshire to be the keynote speaker at what is now being called the Eleanor Roosevelt Dinner. WMUR says the dinner was initially named for Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson aback in 1991. It has also been renamed to honor former presidents John F. Kennedy and Bill Clinton in 2016.
Baldwin's skit portraying Trump's meeting with rapper Kanye West opened up this past weekend's episode of SNL.
