Another Drug Overdose Fatality in New Hampshire

(Portsmouth, NH) - Another drug overdose has proved fatal in the Seacoast Region.  32 year old Shawn Michael Simons of Hampton is the latest victim.

32 year old Michael Simons is the latest victim of a rash of drug overdoses.He was found by police and fire personnel Friday night at the Wren’s Nest Village Inn, at 3548 Lafayette Road, Route 1.

At the time, he was unconscious, and efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.  The Portsmouth Police Department and the N.H. Office of the Medical Examiner are investigating this as a heroin overdose.
