Cafe Espresso in Dover Is Serving Up Love for Breakfast

It's true... Dave Hadwen, owner of Café Espresso, loves to cook. He loves his customers. And he wants to make sure none of them leave his restaurant hungry or unhappy. All I can say is, mission accomplished!

We took The Big Breakfast on the road for the fourth morning in a row on our Five Cities in Five Days tour. We've been hitting some of the best breakfast spots along the Seacoast this week. Each of them unique in their own way. Each place putting their special spin on the most important meal of the day.

Café Espresso impressed me with the amount of food you get, the freshness, and the service.

Dave has owned Café Espresso for 17 years. The original spot is located at 800 Islington St. in Portsmouth. The Big Breakfast hit the Dover location at 471 Central Ave. this morning.

House specialties include the lobster benny, and cornbeef hash. But what really knocked me out were the pastries. How good were they? Watch these two videos and see for yourself.
