Check Out the Views from The New Parking Garage in Dover

Sometimes you just need to stop and take a look around!

Last week after breakfast at the always satisfying 2 Home Cooks, I was looking to take a walk around town. Given that I generally walk downtown, I'd never had reason to head inside the new parking garage. So I figured "let's see what the views are like from the top." I wasn't disappointed.

This view, if Have my bearings right, is looking northwest from the top of the garage. Take a look at Garrison Hill Tower off in the distance, which remains the best place for views in Dover.

Here is a look south towards City Hall, the McConnell Center and what once was Robbins Auto Parts. The Robbins building is set to be torn down and replaced by a combination of condos and retail space- eventually. That was the official word last summer, at least.

Next time you're in town to shop or hit up the restaurant scene, consider a trip to the top of the garage for a look around!
