Voters in the beach town of Hampton, New Hampshire are going to be asked to support a citizens petition looking to ban smoking on town-owned beaches.

According to a recent article from Seacoast Online, the petition calls to 'prohibit smoking on all town beaches in Hampton.' 

The beaches that are 'town owned' in Hampton, New Hampshire are Plaice Cove, which is near North Beach and Sun Valley, which is located on Hampton property on the Seabrook side of the Neil R. Underwood Bridge.

BE AWARE THAT THIS PETITION TO BAN SMOKING DOES NOT APPLY TO HAMPTON BEACH STATE PARK, WHICH IS OWNED BY THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE.
