Couple Engaged at New Hampshire Concert in Exact Spot They Met

It's a story nobody in the circle of friends and family will forget any time soon.  It's also a lovely story which could be a romance novel.

Two years, two months, and two days after their chance meeting, Meg and Kole teamed up again in the exact same spot they met.  This time it wasn't like that first time, during a country concert at BankNH Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire. This time there was a crowd around them.

Back in 2022, Meg was with friends who were trying to help out Kole, nicknamed "Koleslaw", as he was having trouble with his bus.  He drives really nice busses for famous people, and this particular job was driving for the Thomas Rhett tour.

Kole came out from backstage to meet his friends and thank them for the help, and when he bolted out, he spotted them.  There was a beautiful woman with them whom he did not know, but he blurted out "I'm going to marry that girl some day!".

They started dating long-distance, as he lived in Tennessee, and she in New Hampshire.

Fast forward to the Dierks Bentley show in Gilford this week.  I spotted our friend and artist April Cushman with a group of people, and little did I know what was about to go down.

Meg and Kole decided to meet again at the very spot they met a couple years prior, wearing the same clothes they wore on that magical day.  As the group watched, Kole got down on one knee and asked Meg to marry him.

He backed it up with a gorgeous ring.  She said yes.

I went over to see what the hoopla was about and they shared their story.  It is so sweet, and a beautiful end to a memorable evening with Dierks and company.
