Driver Charged With 3 Rochester Hit & Run Accidents
(Rochester, NH) - A Strafford man is facing charges after he was involved in 3 seperate accidents just a few miles apart early this morning.
Rochester Police got the first reported around 12:43 this morning that a parked car had been hit on Walnut Street and that the second vehicle had driven away.
Less than a half-mile west, a utility pole was struck and snapped off its base. Again, the vehicle fled the scene.
2 miles further west, Police found a Jeep that had struck a second utility pole. The driver had fled the scene.
21 year old Stevie Coletti of Strafford was located a short distance away and charged with Driving Under The Influence and 3 Counts of Conduct After An Accident. He is free on P.R. bail pending a court appearance next month.
