Free Ice Cream Day is back at Dairy Queen!

Dairy Queen has such a special place in my heart. After a long day at Salisbury Beach, playing a game at Joe's, and getting Tripolis, my mom would frequent DQ on Elm Street in Salisbury, Massachusetts.

My mom loved the dipped ice cream – a Dairy Queen signature. I was more of a blizzard guy, but I digress.

For the eight time, Dairy Queen is bringing back Free Ice Cream Cone Day on March 19, 2024, according to the Dairy Queen website.

If you are wondering about logistics and your locations, check below.

These are the locations in Maine and New Hampshire, according to the website:

Maine: Auburn, Augusta, Bangor, Belfast, Biddeford, Brewer, Ellsworth, Kennebunk, Kittery, Old Orchard Beach, Old Town, Rockland, Saco, Sanford, South Portland, Topsham, Waterville, Wells, Westbrook, Windham, and Woolwhich.

New Hampshire: Concord, Glen, Hudson, Laconia, Manchester, Merrimack, Nashua, North Conway, Salem, Somersworth, and Tilton.

From what I can tell, there are no rules/regulations. There is no additional purchase necessary, like most contests. Instead, New Englanders can get ready for spring with their first ice cream cone from DQ for free.

Even though the free ice cream cone does not require a purchase, I am totally going to recommend you grab a chicken finger basket ahead of time. This meal is so nostalgic for me and many New Englanders. The Texas Toast on the side was mouthwatering.

Perhaps it reminds me of a true New England franchise: the chicken finger sticks at Friendly's.

Food or no food, enjoy your free ice cream cone in New England from DQ on March 19, 2024.
