Funeral Services Have Been Set for Strafford County Police Dog Daisy Mae
(Rochester, NH) - The public has been invited to attend the service at the Rochester Opera House on Monday to talk about how Daisy Mae and the K-9 programs have affected their lives.
Daisy Mae and her handler, Deputy Keith MacKenzie , were assigned to both the Strafford County Sheriffs Department and the Rochester Police Department.
Daisy Mae died at the age of 7 earlier this year of a tick-borne related illness. She and Macenzie had responded to over 200 calls for service during her lifetime, and were recognized for tracking suspects in several high-profile cases in NH and other states.
The funeral services for Daisy Mae will begin at 10 Monday morning at the Rochester Opera House.
Doors will open at 9 am.
