Goodwill Is Ditching Plastic Bags
(Dover, NH) - The single-use plastic bags have already been taken out of use at a number of Goodwill stores in New England.
Goodwill officials say that plastic bags are a huge contributor to ocean pollution.
Half of the Goodwill stores in New England went bagless earlier this month.
Store employees have been stashing away tote bags for months in anticipation of the change, which will be in effect in all Goodwill stores on January 1.
