Hearing Planned On Proposed Dover Marijuana Dispensary
(Dover, NH ) - Dover residents will have a chance this month to comment on a proposed medical marijuana dispensary in the city.
The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services will hold the public forum in the McConnell Center on October 26th starting at 7 PM.
Temescal Wellness has identified a proposed site in Dover for the Alternative Treatment Center, and residents, qualifying patients , designated caregivers and others will have a chance to get further information and comment on the proposal.
In May 2015, DHHS announced the selection of the ATCs that would begin the post-selection registration process. DHHS has worked collaboratively with the selected ATCs, as well as local governing bodies, to hold public input forums in the towns and cities in which they would like to operate.
Public input forums have been held regarding proposed ATC dispensary sites in Plymouth, Lebanon, and Merrimack and proposed ATC cultivation sites in
Peterborough, Manchester, and Rochester.
