Here’s What You Missed When Runaway June Played WOKQ Sessions

Another WOKQ Sessions, produced by Newburyport Five Cent Savings Bank rolled out  Thursday. If you missed it, you have to check out the video.

The female trio, who will open for Carrie Underwood next year joined us shortly after 4pm for a special four song set, lead by a hit from a few years ago called Wild West.

This was followed by their first big song, Lipstick. A song which originated from the inspirational quote be with someone who ruins your lipstick not your mascara 

Next, Runaway June thrilled fans of old school country by covering a song made famous by the late Keith Whitley, and talked about playing the Grand Old Opry for the first time.

Lastly, the ladies launched into their latest hit, which is the empowering anthem "Buy My Own Drinks"
