I See Dead People ……At The Woodman Museum In Dover!
(Dover, NH) - It's the weekend for the 6th annual "Lives and Legends: Voices from the Woodman Museum".
Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm, you can tour the 4-building Woodman campus and meet with some of the famous and infamous residents of Dover's past.
Among the 19 scenes, you will meet the farmer who shot the last cougar killed in New Hampshire, an Arctic explorer who was poisoned by his crew, a Purple Heart-awarded Navy nurse, veterans of the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, a nearly 300 year old wooden doll, hardy sea captains, striking mill girls and a former New Hampshire Governor.
The Woodman says the event is suitable for children, and say there is some stair-climbing involved in the 90-minute tour.
