Information On Special Olympics Of New Hampshire Penguin Plunge

Yup, it's that time of year again to start thinking about plunging into the ocean at Hampton Beach! (Plunge Weekend is February 1-2, 2014)

This will be the 15th Annual Penguin Plunge (6th Annual High School Plunge)  Every year, thousands of plungers brave the icy cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean all for a great cause. Money raised go to Special Olympics of New Hampshire.  WMUR's Chief Meteorologist Mike Haddad and Meteorologist Kevin Skarupa join in the fun with both Mark Ericson and myself.  The entire weekend is so inspiring.  If you ever thought about jumping in or maybe being a 'pampered penguin,' I highly recommend checking out SONH's website.  All the info you need is there.  Oh, almost forgot...this year's Saturday High School Plunge theme is "School Spirit," while the Sunday Penguin Plunge theme is 'Zombies!"
