There was this new study from the crew at BoatBooker ranking the most picturesque waterfront spots to pop the question across the United States and get this, Bar Harbor landed an impressive #7 spot nationwide.

This was a near-perfect 4.80 rating on Google Maps, as per the report and that is huge!

 But this is not exactly a surprise for those of us who’s ever watched the sun rise over the water there. 

The spot is set along the edge of Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor truly gives that real classic Maine view, right? That sexy rocky coastline, calm harbor, and just enough little town charm to hit you right in the heart like a Hallmark Movie Trailer.  

But what make’s it all stand out isn’t just the view, it’s the feel, the atmosphere and couples are noticing!  

The study looked at reviews, ratings, and overall appeal to figure out which waterfront locations feel the most memorable! And Bar Harbor stood on it’s own against some of the best names in the country!
