Man Assaulted, Tied Up in Brentwood, NH, Home Invasion

A man was tied and bound in his own home during a home invasion in Brentwood Saturday.

Brentwood Police said a 67-year-old Smith Road resident told them three men jumped and assaulted him and told him he had to leave. The men then taped his hands and tied his feet together with rope and left him in his front yard before leaving.

A firearm was stolen from the home and recovered later in Massachusetts, according to police.

The man had a deep laceration to his hand and severe pain in his chest and back. He was taken to a hospital and treated for rib fractures and a broken scapula.

Police said the men have been identified, and warrants are coming for their arrest. They did not disclose a possible motive or if the man knew his assailants, but said there is no threat to the public.
