Kind Mass State Trooper Shares Lunch with Panhandling Woman
A Massachusetts State Police officer shared lunch with a woman and the act of kindness has captured the attention of the internet.
The trooper, Luke Bonin, was returning from court in Fall River when he spotted the woman who appeared down on her luck panhandling by the road. He proceeded to buy two lunches, offered her one, and sat and had a conversation with her. A local resident captured the moment and shared it on facebook with the caption "And they say chivalry is dead…….Much respect."
While Mr. Bonin didn't want or seek publicity, Massachusetts State Police was justifiably proud to share the compassionate moment.
