If you were planning on having a meal at The Farm Bar and Grille on State Road in Kittery, Maine. You're out of luck.

Without fanfare, the owners of The Farm Bar and Grille closed their doors a couple of weeks ago. The good news, is they are not closed for good. They will be reopening this week under a brand new name, The Local Kitchen and Tap. They will now focus on seafood and Maine craft beer and spirits.

Seacoastonline says some updates were done to the interior of the eatery and the owners are excited to cater to the local community.

The three owners of the now 'Local Kitchen and Tap' also own The Farm Bar and Grille restaurants in Dover and Manchester, New Hampshire as well as Essex, Massachusetts.

Owners of the franchise, Bradley Atkinson, Ryan cox, Noah Goldstein, say everything on the new Kittery menu is under $20 and that they really want to focus more on the local clientele than tourists.
