Never leave bottled water in your car because it can start a fire. As crazy as it sounds, firefighters are warning people about the hazard.

According to MSN, although the risk is low, a test conducted by Oklahoma's Midwest City Fire Department, found sunlight magnified by a water bottle reached 250 degrees. A technician at the Idaho Power Company noticed smoke coming from beneath the center console of his truck. Upon further investigation, it was caused by light being refracted through a water bottle and starting to catch the seat on fire.
