West African nationsl to meet with head of UN
The leaders of three Ebola-stricken West African nations are meeting with heads of the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank to discuss the outbreak and what help they need to fight it. Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea have been hit hardest by the virus that's killed 3,800 people, and they're asking for additional treatment centers, protective equipment and money to pay health care workers.

Man accused of human trafficking
Police in Portsmouth have accused a man of human trafficking and distributing heroin as police cracked down on a prostitution operation. Authorities say they arrested 28-year-old Frantzer Fleurimond of Boston on Wednesday during a "prostitution initiative" conducted by detectives. Police say Fleurimond allegedly controlled heroin access for two women to maintain involuntary servitude.

Vermont woman and boyfriend pleads not guilty to second-degree murder
A Vermont woman and her boyfriend have pleaded not guilty to charges that they put alcohol in her disabled 13-year-old son's IV tube, contributing to his death. Melissa Robitille and Walter Richters III were ordered held without bail yesterday on second-degree murder charges in the August death of Isaac Robitille.

A British woman who was quite sure her cancer would kill her sooner rather than later decided to stealing nearly $644,000 from her employer.  She ended up beating the cancer and is now going to prison.

One day, Mark was having quite a conversation with his son:
'Look son, why don't  you get yourself a job. You can earn money and even put some of that money away to earn interest. That way, you won't have to work ever again.'  The son replied..'why would I do all that, I don't work now!'
