I like to give most people the benefit of the doubt. In the words of the great Luke Bryan, "Most People Are Good". However, these past two weeks have made that pretty hard for me to believe.

Two weeks ago, my husband was hit by a car while in a crosswalk and was severely injured. The driver kept on driving for a mile before pulling over to call 911. Just today credit cards were taken from my purse at a radio station event. That person then went on a 900 dollar shopping spree at Wal Mart. I'm not telling you these things to be a Debbie Downer. I just want you to be aware that some people lack a moral compass. They are looking out for themselves and themselves only! I don't want to be skeptical of new people out of fear of being taken advantage of. But I am entirely too trusting and perhaps that is something I should work on.

To add to this series of dishonesty, on Saturday, this happened outside G&P Pizza in Chester, New Hampshire.

Can you believe that person just took off?! They made a mistake and should have come clean about it. Now if they get caught (and I hope they do) they will be in ten times more trouble because they fled the scene.

People can be stupid and mean and I feel like it's unfair to be both.
