Mother Nature Will Dump Bucketloads of Rain on Maine, NH Next Week
It's been pretty hard to complain about the summer we've been having in New England. Has it been a little humid? Sure. But after that brutal winter we all endured, we can hang with the heat. But if you were thinking it was going to be all sunshine from bell to bell this summer, Mother Nature is here to dampen those dreams.
A major storm system is set to move through the northeast next week, dropping bucketloads of rain across the state of Maine and New Hampshire, leaving all of those thirsty lawns very happy. People on a week-long summer vacation? Maybe not so much. The extended forecast calls for rain seemingly everyday over the course of an entire week starting on Sunday.
Which brings us to this amazingly poignant Tweet from Mike Haggett of Pine Tree Weather. Get ready for it.
