This winter has been the winter we all remember from our childhood.  Wicked cold and snow up the wazoo.  I think that's actually the official name of this winter, "Snow up the Wazoo." We're getting more this weekend.

Here's what Kevin Skarupa from WMUR says - as of the time of this writing - about what's coming up this weekend.

How Many Inches of Snow Will New Hampshire Get This Weekend?

Kevin says that clouds will increase on Friday night with moderate snowfall.  He says it looks like we are somewhere in the middle of 1"-3" or  6" - 12".  More like 3-6, or 4-8" snowfall, depending of course where you are.

Most of the snowfall is going to happen on Friday afternoon into Friday night and continue into the wee hours of Saturday morning. We should see the snow when we wake up.  You'll have to get the snowblower out sometime on Saturday, but hey, that thing still has gas in it from the last storm, doesn't it?

I would spend hours outside making igloos in the snow with that thing.  My backyard is where I discovered that if you are surrounded by snow, you can actually stay warm.  The snow works as insulation and it's actually quite comfy.  I do remember, however, feeling my legs start to freeze.  I can remember when I came inside and took off my snow suit, my thighs were bright red from being in the cold.  Ah yes, those were the days of frostbite and actually playing outside and loving every minute of it.
