Tomorrow (Saturday, June 6th), is the 31st annual WOKQ Chowder Fest. Are you going? One of the many local restaurants participating in this years event will take home the coveted 'Golden Ladle.' Who will it be? WOKQ's Chowder Fest benefits the Prescott Park Arts Festival. This year's Chowder Fest is being held at Puddle Dock and starts at 11:30am and goes until the CHOWDER. IS. ALL. GONE!

US government hit by hack attack
The U.S. government has been hit again by computer hacking and this time the entire federal workforce, as well as former government employees, might be at risk of having their personal information compromised. Sen. Susan Collins, a Maine Republican who sits on the intelligence committee, says the hackers were believed to be based in China. But the Chinese Foreign Ministry in Beijing is denying the allegations.
Proposed health networks to be previewed Friday
The public is getting its first look at the health care provider networks proposed for insurance plans that will be available next year under President Barack Obama's health care overhaul law. Four insurers that will offer health plans are repeat players - Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Maine Community Health Options and Minuteman Health. The fifth, Ambetter, will be new.
Deadline nears to comment on Mount Sunapee expansion
Time is winding down to submit comments on a state proposal to expand the Mount Sunapee ski resort, which critics say will lead to a real estate sprawl that will scar the mountain.Mount Sunapee Resort has been trying to expand for nearly two decades, looking to add a lift and four trails. A public comment period ends today.
