Tricky commute
Motorists across much of Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine could be in for a tough commute as they return to work after the long holiday weekend. The National Weather Service says a winter weather advisory is in effect through midday today across much of northern New England, as snow is expected to turn to sleet and freezing rain in some areas. The same storm system is blamed for three traffic fatalities in Virginia and suspected tornadoes in Florida and Mississippi.
