Trump to NC today
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is scheduled to attend rallies in North Carolina today as he continues his efforts to counter critics from his own party who question his fitness to be president. The list of fellow Republicans deeming him unfit for the Oval Office grew by one yesterday. Maine Sen. Susan Collins, a moderate long wary of Trump, says she won't vote for him in November.

Snorkler sues
A New Hampshire snorkeler has filed a federal lawsuit against the United States that claims he was shocked by faulty wiring at a marina owned by the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. The lawsuit claims the federal government negligently failed to maintain a safe electrical supply for vessels in the Kittery, Maine marina.
