This Country Superstar Was Spotted Driving a Duck Boat on the Charles River
A little piece of Texas experienced one of the most iconic Boston traditions over the weekend...

Country superstar Lainey Wilson was spotted behind the wheel of a Duck Boat on the Charles River before she was expected to headline the infamous Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular.
Before she hit the stage for the fourth of July celebration, Lainey spent some time seeing what makes Boston so special.
She told Channel 7 News, "I'm excited to spend some time with my crew and get to know Boston a little bit more on the Charles River. It don't get any better than that on the Fourth of July."
Honestly, I couldn't agree more!
If you've never experienced a Duck Boat tour, it's one of those classic Boston bucket-list activities. The amphibious vehicles (military craft that can operate on both land and water) travel through the city's historic streets before splashing into the Charles River, giving those riding on one a chance to indulge in Boston's rich history.
One local even commented on social media, "Oh my gosh they are amazing! And I say this as a local."
According to Boston Duck Tours, "What began as a four-Duck, 15-employee business on October 4, 1994, has grown to a 28-Duck, 200-employee powerhouse in the Boston tourism market. Since inception, Boston Duck Tours was voted by Boston Magazine as 'Best of Boston' in the city tour category and voted Boston.com’s “Best City Tour”.
With a reputation like that, it's easy to see why the country superstar wanted to experience it for herself.
Since she is constantly traveling the country to her next show, she explained to Channel 7, "I think it's important when you go to other places to get out and meet the people and get to know the place."

That's one of the many reasons fans love Lainey! No matter how big of a superstar she becomes, she always remains humble.
Here's hoping Boston left as much of an impression on Lainey as she did on the thousands of fans who came to see her perform.
