As if we didn't have enough show already, parts of New Hampshire are getting ready for another 8-16 inches of snow.

A 'Blizzard Watch' has been issued for Saturday afternoon for Strafford and Rockingham counties. A 'Winter Storm Watch' is in effect for the remainder of the state. Meteorologist Rob Carolan says today will be mostly sunny and breezy with a high of 12...4 above in the North Country. Tonight will be clear and cold, lows ranging from -6 to -23 in the North Country. Check out your weekend forecast.

Hernandez murder trial to resume.
The murder trial of former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez is scheduled to resume today after major snowstorms and other delays repeatedly got in the way. Hernandez is accused in the 2013 killing of semi-professional football player Odin Lloyd, who was dating the sister of his fiancée. Hernandez's lawyers have tried to portray the investigation as shoddy.

Three dead following head-on crash
New Hampshire State Police say two drivers and a passenger have died after a collision on Route 16 in Milton.Police said a Jeep Liberty driven by 57-year-old Victoria Rose of Revere, Massachusetts, was traveling south on Route 16 Thursday night and crossed in to the path of a northbound Subaru Outback. Rose was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, 31-year-old Allison Smith of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, was later pronounced dead at a hospital. A passenger in the Subaru, 31-year-old Vanessa Cox of Boston, suffered critical injuries and later died at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Maine Governor asks U.S. Supreme Court for writ
Republican Governor Paul LePage is asking the nation's highest court to review his request to remove about 6,000 low-income young adults from Maine's Medicaid rolls. The LePage administration told The Associated Press that it filed a petition for a writ of certiorari with the U.S. Supreme Court yesterday. The AP has obtained a copy of the filing.
