Considering action against N Korea
The chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee says he has no doubt that North Korea was involved in the hacking attack against Sony Pictures and the threat against movie theaters. Republican Congressman Ed Royce of California is calling for tougher U.S. sanctions to cut Pyongyang's access to hard currency, by excluding from the U.S. financial system banks in other countries that hold North Korean funds. National security advisers are considering a range of options, but the White House had not said publicly that it believes North Korea is to blame.

Tenth week of FairPoint strike
FairPoint Communications workers and their supporters are marking the tenth week of their strike with a rally outside the Statehouse. Unions representing more than 1,700 workers in Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire say FairPoint has rejected virtually all of their proposals. The company's chief executive officer says the unions have refused to bargain in good faith.

Kelley sent back to jail to await trail
A woman accused of fleeing with her daughter to Central America in a custody dispute 10 years ago has been sent back to jail to await trial in New Hampshire. Genevieve Kelley returned to New Hampshire last month to face a custodial interference charge in Coos County. She says her 18-year-old daughter, Mary Nunes, is safe.
