New Survey Says Red Sox Fans Are Among the Most Obnoxious in the Country

Boston sports fans get a bad reputation around the country, and I think we all know the reason why. They hate us cuz they ain't us (truthfully, It's most likely that pompous attitude that makes us so hated).

We are a quadruple threat, and other cities simply can't relate. The Celtics, Bruins, Red Sox, and Patriots are serious contenders in their respective leagues every single year. Most cities don't even have one team that has a snowballs chance in hell of making it the NBA Finals, Super Bowl, World Series, or Playoffs.

Red Sox fans are in a league of their own, pun intended. They might be the most passionate and superstitious fans in the entire country. A website called Crestline surveyed 1,000 baseball fans across the country to ask their opinions of MLB fanbases and players.

Their findings were as follows:

• Red Sox fans were voted the 2nd most annoying, 2nd most arrogant, 3rd worst-behaved, and the 3rd most likely to complain about the new rule changes for the 2023 season.
• Alex Cora was named the 3rd most annoying manager in MLB.

How did they quantify an annoying fan? According to Crestline annoying fans:

Even though Red Sox fans top the list in the obnoxious department, it brings me great pleasure to know that Yankees fans are regarded as worse than us.
