Everyone is feeling a little stir-crazy right about now.  I definitely feel like I've watched the entire Netflix catalog!  As adults, we know why we're staying home.  Keeping ourselves and our communities safe by social distancing is imperative to stop the spread of Covid-19.

If you have kids, they might have a more difficult time understanding why they can't play with their friends or go the park, movies, or even school right now.  Between home-schooling and watching movies, a lot of parents are looking for ways to keep the kids entertained.

Newmarket Fire & Rescue is launching a new initiative to do just that.   It's called Fun Fridays and Newmarket Fire plans to drive through different neighborhoods with the lights and sirens blaring for the kids.  You may not be able to go out, but the trucks are coming to you!  The department plans to do this every Friday around 3pm.

They are also taking requests for which neighborhoods to visit.  If you'd like to see them in your neighborhood just send them a message here!
