Portsmouth Man Faces Criminal Threatening Charge

(Portsmouth, NH) - 50 year old Michael Edwards is free on bail after his arrest in connection with an incident late last year.

Police say a warrant had been issued for the arrest of Edwards, who is charged with pointing a handgun at an individual in their Melcher Street residence and threatening to kill the victim over a past debt.

The incident reportedly occurred early in the morning of December 30th, but was not reported to police until last week.

Edwards was released on P.R. bail on the Class B Felony charge of Criminal Threatening With A Deadly Weapon.
