Records In Jeopardy At New England Dragway This Weekend

Ironically, colder weather will heat up the Night of Fire.

This Saturday, New England Dragway will host the Night of Fire, and according to General Manager Joe Lombardo, various records are in jeopardy. He spoke to WOKQ Thursday about the event, and weather playing a factor in performance. "The car geeks will know this, but when the weather gets cool, that means the engines can make a lot more horsepower." "This time of year is usually when we see people set new track records, and new national records." With temperatures falling off a cliff, and returning to normal this weekend, the conditions will be perfect for record runs.

Also, before you toss a non winning NH Lottery ticket, it's going to be worth something this Saturday at New England Dragway. Lombardo commented "anyone can bring their non winning NH Lottery ticket, and receive a special discount at the gate."
