Should This Dad Let His Boy Get a Barbie Doll? [VIDEO]

Mikki Willis seems like a pretty cool dad. His son recently received two identical gifts for his birthday, so he brought him to the store to exchange one for another toy. What did his son want? A Little Mermaid Barbie doll and Dad had absolutely no problem with that.

In a way, it seems a shame the video went viral at all in so far as it seems like we should be well beyond this by now. Little boys like playing with dolls and little girls love pushing trucks around (and vice versa). They're just kids with crazy imaginations. If a boy likes a Barbie, so what?!

As evidenced by many people recently getting in a huff about Target opting not to separate toys by gender, seems like a many people do have an issue with it. Seems they too have fanciful imaginations, thinking it is part of some convoluted agenda. No, as the video below illustrates, kids just want what they want so why do we need artificial labels?

Is Pokemon for boys? Is Frozen just for girls? And who decides? So Mikki Willis and son, good on you two for just liking what you like and not worrying what some judgmental people might say!
