Unique Beach in Maine Has Rocks That ‘Sing’ as Waves Crash in
I got suckered into reading a clickbait opinion piece recently about the most unique beach in the world.
Turns out the reader was referring to Jasper Beach in Maine.
Now I have not been to this beach; however, I learned something about it that just might make it the most unique beach in the world.
The way the waves crash onto the silky smooth rocks that make up the "beach" makes a beautiful "song."
It is not really a song, and it certainly does not sing; however, the noise that the water makes as it is pulled back into the ocean is unlike anything I have heard before in my life.
The sound is likely the rocks colliding with each other in the wave.
Give this a listen. It sounds like fire crackling, or like snap, crackle, and pop are nearby...
This unique sound can be found at Jasper Beach in Washington County, Maine - WAY up there.
Excluding the sounds, there are certainly some other elements that could make this the most unique beach in the world.
The rocks, that really do cause the singing, are so smooth it is unlike any other beach.
Also, there is a secret sea cave, which you can check out in this Instagram video.
So if you have been, tell me, is this the most unique beach in the world?
