Snowblower Thefts on Rise in Mass. Tips for Keeping Yours Safe

What you need to know to keep your snowblower safe this winter. 

Recently, there has been an uptick in thefts of snowblowers and authorities have several tips to help keep your machine safe this winter.

Malden Police told WBZ that most of the thefts have happened during daytime hours.

To help keep your snowblower safe try:
*Recording the serial numbers and make/model
*Painting a mark or initials on the machine to personalize it
*Keep your snowblowers out of public view when not being used
