Massachusetts Residents Are Most Likely to Move in New England

Moving is such a hassle.  It doesn't matter if it's moving from apartment to apartment or house to house.  It also doesn't matter how much stuff you have to move; it's still a stress most people would rather not deal with.

Storage.com recently shared a study of the states whose residents are most likely to move. The press release also talked about the stress of moving and how time has a way of creeping up on you.  Before you know it, it's time to move, and if you haven't planned ahead for things like a moving company, contacting utility companies, collecting boxes and bubble wrap, or getting your current dwelling ready for the sale, you should definitely get started.

There's only one state which ranked in the top 10 states whose residents are most likely to sell.

The spring is the busiest time for real estate agents and home loan specialists, so you have to be ready to pounce when the time is right.

Surprisingly, the top state for people who move the most is Colorado, followed by Florida, Arizona, and Michigan.   Georgia, Washington, Virginia, and Massachusetts round out the top 8.

On the flip side, the state where people are most comfortable with their living situation are a little surprising.  The state where most residents don't care to move from is Alaska.  I realize it conjures up ice and cold and snow, but Alaska is so beautiful in the summer.

Speaking of beautiful, Hawaii is the second most settled state, with Mississippi, Montana, Louisiana, Wyoming, West Virginia, North Dakota, rounding out the top 8 places with happy residents.

The other New England states ranked much further down the list, but Massachusetts definitely has movers and shakers as its residents.
