You eat ice cream just for dessert? Sorry but you're doing it wrong.

According to the Telegraph a scientist in Tokyo conducted an experiment where half a group of people ate ice cream as soon as they woke up and the other half ate a normal breakfast. Both groups were asked to complete a group of mental exercises on a computer.

The folks who ate ice cream for breakfast had quicker reaction times and when monitoring their brain waves the scientist found they were calmer and more alert.

The reason is still unknown but there are theories. One theory is that ice cream makes you happy and happiness boosts your mental energy. Who could argue with that kind of logic?
